Indianapolis, Indiana expansion, new stairway and kitchen remodel
Project Description
It was very important to these owners to maintain this Indianapolis area home’s charm and they requested we keep the original wood entrance door as a remembrance. The solution was to add a two story expansion to the front of the main center of the house. This expansion allowed a spacious entry foyer, an elegant stairway to the second floor and enabled expansion of all of the bedrooms, complete with private baths.
After all the other expansions the old kitchen no longer fit the house. So the walls came down, the kitchen was expanded and the new kitchen now has direct access to the huge screen porch at he rear.
The original front entrance still greets you as you approach the front door. But inside, it’s a new house. Open, bright, spacious and elegantly casual living abounds
